Task Genie ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our customer journey management platform ("Service").

By accessing or using Task Genie, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, password, company name, and billing information
• Profile Information: Job title, phone number, profile photo, and other optional information
• Customer Data: Information you enter into the Service including customer records, projects, tasks, messages, and documents

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from third-party services you connect to Task Genie, such as calendar integrations, payment processors, and OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft, etc.).

2.3.1 Google User Data

When you sign in with Google or connect Google services (Gmail, Google Calendar) to Task Genie, we receive limited information from Google with your explicit consent:

• Authentication Data: Your Google account email address and profile information (name, profile photo) to create and authenticate your Task Genie account
• Gmail Data: If you connect Gmail, we access email messages, labels, and metadata to display your emails within Task Genie and enable email management features. We only request read and send permissions.
• Google Calendar Data: If you connect Google Calendar, we access calendar events, attendees, and metadata to display your schedule within Task Genie and provide calendar integration features. We only request read-only access.

How We Use Google Data:

• We use Google data solely to provide the integration features you have explicitly enabled
• We encrypt all Google OAuth tokens (access tokens and refresh tokens) using AES-256-GCM encryption before storing them
• We store encrypted tokens securely in our database to maintain your connection and sync data on your behalf
• We do not use Google data for advertising purposes
• We do not sell, rent, or share Google data with third parties except as required to provide our Service (e.g., cloud hosting)
• We do not transfer Google data to other apps or services

Your Control Over Google Data:

• You can disconnect Google integrations at any time from your Task Genie workspace settings
• When you disconnect, we immediately delete all stored Google OAuth tokens and cease accessing your Google data
• You can revoke Task Genie's access to your Google account at any time through Google Account Permissions

Task Genie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process your transactions and manage your account
• Send you technical notices, updates, and security alerts
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
• Analyze usage patterns and improve the Service
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
